Katie Garnier, MS, CCC-SLP
Owner / Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)In order to help serve and improve access in her community, Katie, with the help of her husband, Federico, founded Romero Speech Therapy LLC to help individuals experiencing difficulty with communication, cognition, and swallowing to achieve connection with others and meet their goals.
Katie earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she received training to provide SLP services to children and adults. She has over 10 years of experience working with clients in various environments including skilled nursing, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. She holds the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence.
